Project of the Year ” for the performance” The Fulcrum “, during which the artist stood for several hours on a four-meter wooden pillar. She has won this prize two more times. Olga’s performances explore the inner nature of the person, the issues of self-acceptance, borders of freedom and confinement. Her acts often have a contact with a person, but wordless and very intimate. experience. At the same time time she doesn’t stick to one particular theme, her performances are reactions and feelings at a particular moment of time. Olga’s performances took place in all main  Russian contemporary art institutions (New Tretyakov Gallery, Garage Museum go Contemporary art, Moscow Museum of Modern Art) as well as in England, Germany, France, Serbia. In 2017, she participated in “Man as Bird. Images of journeys’ exhibition launched by the State Moscow Pushkin Museum of Fine Art at the 57th international art exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia, Palazzo Soranzo van Axel, Venice, Italy.

“I do performances primarily for myself and about myself. But the more honestly you tell about yourself, the more people will be able to find in this something close to themselves.” “After the performance, you completely change inside. Superpower appears, second breath. At first, you are in some kind of turbulence – it seems that you can laugh and burst into tears at the same time. Performance is a special language. What can be said on it cannot be expressed in any other way.”
